Qualcomm ha presentato questa mattina in modo ufficiale la nuova piattaforma
Snapdragon 636 con importanti miglioramenti in termini di performance, prestazioni gaming e tecnologia display rispetto alla versione precedente
Snapdragon 630 annunciata a maggio.
Snapdragon 636 rappresenta la sforzo di Qualcomm per rafforzare la gamma di prodotti Snapdragon e rispondere in modo adeguato agli utenti finali che sempre più richiedono dispositive di alta qualità, funzionalità avanzate e prezzi contenuti.
Snapdragon 636 sfrutta un'architettura Octa Core (Kryo 260 - processo produttivo a 14nm) ad 1.8GHz, per prestazioni fino al 40 per cento superiori rispetto a Snapdragon 630. La GPU Adreno 509 è invece fino al 10 per cento più performante rispetto ad Adreno 508. Il modem Snapdragon X12 LTE supporta velocità in download fino a 600Mbps.
