E' disponibile per il nuovo Samsung Galaxy Nexus la prima 'custom ROM', ottimizzata per spremere al massimo le potenzialità dello smartphone. L' Android Revolution HD ROM, è ovviamente frutto del lavoro di uno sviluppatore indipendente e non ufficiale Samsung. Le modifiche apportate riguardano numerose ottimizzazioni per migliorare le performance, la rimozione di applicazioni superflue ed il supporto per il file system EXT4, per un accesso più veloce ai file. La ROM è inoltre già 'pre-rooted'.
