A system update is ready to install. This software update will upgrade your Android system to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which delivers major improvements to the phone functionality and performance.

Warning: This update may take a lot of time. Your device will restart and install the update. You won't be able to make any calls, including emergency calls, during installation.

Note: Update YotaNotes app via Google Play to fix opening and editing notes.

Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow enhancements
• App permissions
Apps ask for permissions once you start using them. Manage and control these permissions in Apps settings
• Google Now on Tap
Now on Tap works like your personal assistant and gives a fast and easy way to get information that might be relevant to the keywords and images on the screen. Just long tap Home button and get a helpful card with relevant information
• Doze
Save energy - Doze automatically enables sleep mode when you don't use the phone for a long period
• App Standby
Make the battery last longer - App Standby disables background apps with which you haven't recently interacted
• Camera launch
Double tap power button to launch camera action

YotaPhone new features

Check notifications and your phone basic status information on the always-on display. Status bar can be configured in the 'Always-on display' section in Settings
